The second year of the adventures of Vin, the IN Greenwich elf, were again a blast, but all good things must come to an end (though he’ll be back soon enough!). The 2018 winter holiday season brought Bin, the IN Greenwich mensch on a bench, Vin the elf and the newest addition, Lynn the elf, back on the Greenwich, CT scene this past November.
Vin made his first appearance at the Greenwich train station. Bin, short for Binyamin, joined Vin right before the first night of Hanukkah. After Hanukkah, Lynn, a new elf addition for IN Greenwich, joined the scene. The trio were photographed and videoed in over 50 locations ranging from non-profit offices to small businesses and local parks to holiday events. IN Greenwich founders, Craig and Jess agree that their 2018 favorite Vin, Bin & Lynn stops were: Tod’s Point with Jess’ pups and a separate early morning Tod’s Point visit to see the flags raised at sunrise by Larry Imbrogno (caretaker), Pizza Post, Greenwich Association of Realtor’s holiday party, Greenwich Hospital (thankfully Vin’s ok), Bruce Park Grill for pizza and shuffle board and a Brazilian jiu jitsu lesson at Greenwich Jiu Jitsu Academy!
For the holidays the IN Greenwich team brought Santa back on to 1490 WGCH again this year, for children to call in and speak to. “The holiday efforts were a big hit again this year,” said Jessica. “Children were thrilled to call in and speak with Santa on WGCH, which I remember doing growing up in town. And Craig and I, along with some helpers, have had a blast escorting Vin, Bin and Lynn to dozens of locations in the community.” Let the countdown begin for the 2019 winter holidays when we can see Vin, Bin & Lynn again in their town adventures!
