IN GREENWICH
IN Greenwich is a local “news” source curating events and activities happening in Greenwich, Old Greenwich, Riverside, Cos Cob, Glenville and Byram, CT. Greenwich Point Marketing business partners, Craig Jones and Jessica Reid, started this local project in the summer of 2017. The IN Greenwich presence had been primarily on social media channels, with an emphasis on the use of video and live video, until this site went live in 2019. We also have a weekly event email that goes out on Fridays – sign up here!
Over IN Greenwich’s short existence we have become known for helping offer another platform for non-profits to promote their events as well as for the themed event lists ranging from Halloween focus to Winter Holiday Boutiques. The IN Greenwich team keeps it light and entertaining by running campaigns such as an online March Madness bracket with local prizes, the IN Greenwich Elf on a Shelf and Mensch on a bench that take photos and videos around town during the holiday season, celebrating May the Fourth with Star Wars scenes around town, bring Shark Week to town and capturing events on live video to share with others.
As we expand with the IN Greenwich website our hope is that the site’s community calendar can keep Greenwich residents and visitors informed about all there is to do in town. We also plan to continue adding to the entertaining ideas and games, providing an email of local events and writing blog posts that will help the many different Greenwich communities figure out what to do and where to go in town.
