MacInspires STEAM Con 2020 (Ages 7 to 17, Parents & Teachers)
MacInspires first STEAM Convention features inspiring presenters, programs, challenges and an Interactive Gallery of STEAM projects completed by local students and makers. Ages 7-17, parents and teachers welcome!

Workshops will consist of new and exciting robotics challenges never seen at MacInspires, including new robot and robot courses!

John Giarratana, STEM Cell Robotics' founder holds a multidisciplinary engineering degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and has close to 20 years of experience designing robots for the Department of Defense and private companies including Amazon, Boston Dynamics / Google, Bluefin Robotics, and Foster-Miller / QinetiQ. STEM Cell Robotics' mission is to create a fun, safe, and interactive experience for kids to explore fundamental principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through Robotics in the Boston area.

Heather Cabot is an award-winning journalist, contributor to ForbesWomen and serves on the alumni board of Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. A former ABC News correspondent and anchor and former digital lifestyle editor for Yahoo!, she has appeared on Good Morning America, Today, CNN, MSNBC, Fox, nationally syndicated TV talk shows and dozens of local TV and radio stations. Her byline has appeared in Elle, Wired, Parents, USA Today and numerous daily local newspapers. She is the co-author of the WSJ acclaimed Geek Girl Rising: Inside the Sisterhood Shaking Up Tech (St. Martin’s Press), optioned by Kelly Ripa and ABC Studios for scripted TV development.
