The 2024 Carnival or Fair season IN Greenwich, CT kicks off with the North Mianus Pow Wow on Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th {Sunday, 5/5 is the rain date}. There are typically four carnivals in Greenwich, happening in the Spring and Summer. These fairs all have their own rides, games, food options, entertainment and more!

North Mianus Pow Wow

Dates:
Friday, 5/3, 4pm - 9pm
Saturday, 5/4, 11am - 9pm
Rain Date: Sunday, 5/5, 11am - 5pm

Stewart Amusement provides the rides and games, plus North Mianus School adds some of their own games like a fish bowl toss.  The Pow Wow does not offer ride bracelets but does have ticket sheets available for purchase. The school playground is open to play on during the event as well.

Food options typically include amusement concessions like cotton candy, popcorn, etc., a food tent with several cooked items like hamburgers, chicken fingers and even noodles.  Often there is a bake sale table with reasonably priced desserts.

Entertainment includes a variety of musicians and DJs. 

Parking is on residential streets surrounding the school and is limited.

Cos Cob School May Fair

Rainbow Amusements provides the rides and games, plus often there is a dunk tank and face painting. Ride bracelets per night are available in addition to tickets. The school playground is open to play on during the event as well.

Food options typically include amusement concessions like cotton candy, popcorn, etc., and a food tent with several cooked items like hamburgers, chicken fingers and fries, noodles and rice balls, plus pizza fritta.

Entertainment includes a variety of musicians and DJs.

Parking is limited on surrounding residential streets but can be found by Cos Cob Library and Fire House and other stores, only a short walk from the school.

St. Catherine’s Carnival of Fun

Dates: Wednesday, 7/10 - Saturday, 7/13, times TBD but typically ranges from around 6pm to 10pm depending on the night

Stewart Amusement provides traditional rides and games in the parking lot across the street from St. Catherine’s Church. Ride bracelets per night are available in addition to tickets. There is a raffle held each night and often face painting and a dunk tank.

Food options include amusement concessions like cotton candy, popcorn, etc., and local food vendors tents offering a variety of food options. There is a separate pizza fritta tent as well. An ice cream tent or stand is typically present.

Entertainment includes a variety of bands and DJs.

Parking is limited on surrounding residential streets and at businesses but they typically offer shuttles from Riverside School.

St. Roch Feast

Dates: TBD, but typically scheduled for mid August
Address: St. Roch’s Church, 10 St Roch Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830 - a majority of rides and games are behind Hamilton Avenue School across the street from St. Roch’s

Traditional rides and games are available and are typically set-up on behind Hamilton Avenue School. Ride bracelets per night have been available in the past in addition to tickets. There are games of chance available for adults to participate in as well as a raffle.

Food options at this event are extensive. Typically there are amusement concessions like cotton candy, popcorn, etc., and several food tents offering cooked items like steak and peppers, hamburgers, chicken fingers and fries, tacos, etc., plus pizza fritta. An ice cream truck is often present and adults can enjoy the Beer & Wine Garden.

Entertainment includes a variety of bands and DJs.

Parking is limited on surrounding residential streets but they have offered shuttles in the past and 500 West Putnam Ave parking lot is a short walk.
