Greenwich Point Park (Tod’s Point) Tods Driftway, Old Greenwich, Connecticut 06870 Lets celebrate spring at the annual Greenwich Kite Flying Festival on April 27th! The Festival is a fun, family event that combines culture, recreation, and the arts to celebrate the start of the spring season. Enjoy live music, lunch at the beach, and kite flying! Participants only need to bring a kite to fly. The more creative, fun, and colorful the kite, the better! All kite fliers will be recognized with a participation ribbon. ICC will be handing out easy-to-fly delta kites (Limited number available and will be first come, first serve) and hosting a patang, fighter kite, demonstration. Gift certificates have been generously donated by Smart Kids Toys to be raffled off at the event.
The place and time: Greenwich Point Beach – check-in area: First pavilion on the sand to the right of the Old Barn on April 27, at 11:30 a.m. Follow the signs.
