Approximately 9 million Celtic culture fans around the world celebrate the birthday of brilliant poet and songwriter, bad boy, and man of the people, Scottish national poet Robert Burns every year at an event called a Burns Supper. On or near January 25 every year since 1801, Scots pay homage to their beloved bard, most famous for writing “Auld Lang Syne,” with dinner, music, poetry, and a wee dram. The elements of the evening have remained the same as at the very first Burns Supper all those years ago.

The Greenwich Pipe Band will be playing at this event in Greenwich, CT, as will Stefanie Kies, who wows the audience with beautiful renditions of Burns’ songs.

Adult ticket includes: Ticket includes hors d’oeuvres, a buffet dinner with haggis, neeps, tatties, chicken, a green vegetable, rolls, and dessert; plus wine and beer and entertainment by the Greenwich Pipe Band and Stefanie Kies. Each guest also receives a wee dram for a toast; a cash bar will be available for more whisky.
